Live Forever, Manohla Dargis

This is not, strictly speaking, a Women Do story.

But we must show the love. When's the last time the NYT ran a story that begins with the sentence, "Do Hollywood studio executives think that women have a gene for tulle?" and ends with "Die, Bridezilla, die!"?

  1. Sir,

The cinematograph in question having opened at #3 last weekend, one must unfortunately conclude that a strong affinity for tulle is epidemic within the female population, though one also suspects its cause is more that of social than biological construction, women being the more practical and pragmatic of the species, and tulle being about as practical as a two-handed can opener.
